With Connectivity powered by DMG MORI, we offer secure networking of all new DMG MORI machines from 2020 as standard, existing DMG MORI machines and machines from third-party manufacturers. The machine data, availability status, productivity indicators, process data and any additional machine signals can be made available to the user applications via the common standard protocols OPC-UA, MTconnect and MQTT.

The almost comprehensive networking of the shop floor is possible thanks to the range of suitable hardware and software solutions. With the IoTconnector, connectivity is supplied as standard with every new DMG MORI machine. The IoTconnector retrofit ist the solution for existing DMG MORI machines that are up to 10 years old and the IoTconnector flex enables the networking of third-party machines and peripheral devices.

When retrofitting existing DMG MORI machines from 2013 onwards, the “Digital Manufacturing Package” offers the ideal start to connectivity and digitalization.
